The 2025-26 regular season ends Sunday, and the NBA playoff picture is absolute bedlam. Only 6 of 20 postseason seeds are locked: OKC at 1 in the West, San Antonio at 2, Detroit at 1 in the East, and a few others. Everything else? Up for grabs.

In the West, seeds 3 through 8 could shuffle in a dozen different ways depending on this weekend's results. The Nuggets, Lakers, and Rockets are separated by a game and a half for the 3-4-5 slots. The Suns are locked into the 7 play-in, the Warriors into the 10, but everyone in between is still fighting.

In the East, the Celtics, Knicks, and Cavaliers are still battling for the 2-3-4 seeds. The Magic, 76ers, and Hornets are jockeying for play-in positioning.
