Bulls Clean House — Fire Karnisovas and Eversley After Six Losing Seasons

The Bulls finally did it. Six years of mediocrity, one playoff appearance, and a 29-49 record this season — Chicago fired VP of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and GM Marc Eversley on Monday.

The numbers tell the story: 224-254 overall, one postseason appearance (a first-round exit to the Bucks in 2022), and four straight years missing the playoffs. The Jaden Ivey incident was reportedly the final straw that left the Reinsdorf family with no choice.

Now comes the hard part. The Bulls need a full reset — new front office, a clear direction, and a reason for Chicago fans to care again. With a roster that's neither bad enough to tank nor good enough to compete, the next hire has to figure out what this team actually is. The rebuild starts now.
