Cade Cunningham came back from a collapsed lung and dropped 13/10/5 in 26 minutes as the Pistons destroyed the Bucks 137-111.

Cade Cunningham's lung literally collapsed on March 17 after he dove for a loose ball and collided with Tre Johnson. A pneumothorax — the kind of injury that sends most people to the hospital for days. Cunningham missed 11 games. Then he came back Wednesday night and dropped a double-double like nothing happened.

In 26 minutes against the Bucks, Cade put up 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting with 10 assists and 5 rebounds. The Pistons blew Milwaukee out 137-111, building a 75-57 halftime lead. He played in controlled bursts to manage his conditioning, but the precision was there from the jump.

Detroit has the 1 seed locked up — their best season in 20 years. The only question is whether Cade can ramp up to full playoff minutes in time for the postseason. He's played 62 games this season, falling just short of the 65-game threshold for MVP eligibility, which has reignited the debate about whether the NBA's games-played requirement needs to go.
