Cavs erased a 17-point deficit to beat the Grizzlies 142-126
The Cavaliers trailed by 17 in the first half, then flipped the switch. Cleveland outscored Memphis 31-12 to take a 68-64 halftime lead, then blew the doors open with a 28-16 third quarter run to go up 96-80. Final score: 142-126.
The wild part? Memphis tied the NBA single-game record with 29 three-pointers (29-for-59, 49.2%), matching the mark shared by the Bucks and Celtics. All nine Grizzlies who played made at least one three. And they still lost by 16. That's how dominant Cleveland was inside the arc.
Evan Mobley led the Cavs with 24 points, Dennis Schröder had 22 points and 11 assists, Sam Merrill added 21, and Keon Ellis chipped in 19 with 8 assists. Cleveland reaches 50 wins for the second consecutive season — the 14th time in franchise history — and locks up home court in the first round.
