Doc Rivers Told Bucks Players to 'Google Me' — It Didn't Go Well

Doc Rivers called a team meeting in March after a blowout loss to try and rally the Milwaukee Bucks. His strategy? Telling players to look up his résumé. According to ESPN, six people in the room confirmed that Doc literally implored them to Google him. The session "was among a number of instances that rubbed large parts of the locker room the wrong way."

It's the kind of move that perfectly encapsulates how disconnected Rivers has been from this roster. You can't motivate a team led by a generational talent like Giannis by pointing to a championship you won 16 years ago with a completely different squad.

Now Rivers is dropping hints about retirement, telling reporters he has "seven grandkids, all eight and under" and it's "probably time to go see them more." The Bucks' 31-47 record speaks louder than any résumé ever could.
