The Hawks clinched a playoff spot AND the Southeast Division with a 124-102 demolition of the Cavs.

The Atlanta Hawks didn't just punch their playoff ticket on Friday — they demolished the Cleveland Cavaliers 124-102 to clinch the Southeast Division title in the process. It's their first division crown since 2021, when they made a surprise run to the Eastern Conference Finals.

CJ McCollum was sensational, pouring in 25 of his 29 points in the first half. Dyson Daniels filled up the entire stat sheet with a 13-point, 10-rebound, 12-assist triple-double. By the third quarter, the game was over.

The Hawks had been stuck in the play-in tournament for four straight seasons. Now they're a top-six team with a legitimate shot at making noise in the East. If they beat Miami on Sunday, they lock up the No. 5 seed and a first-round date with Cleveland — the same team they just embarrassed.
