Jokic Erases 16-Point Deficit With His 33rd Triple-Double

Nikola Jokic reminded everyone why he's the most unstoppable force in basketball. Down 16 in the fourth quarter against Portland, Jokic put the Nuggets on his back — 35 points, 13 rebounds, 13 assists — dragging Denver to a 137-132 overtime win.

That's triple-double number 33 this season. Thirty-three. The Nuggets have won 9 straight and just leapfrogged the Lakers for the 3-seed in the West. Portland had no answer for Jokic in OT, where he orchestrated every possession like a 6'11" point guard who also happens to be the best post scorer alive.

Denver's surge couldn't come at a better time. With the playoffs two weeks away and the Lakers missing Luka Doncic, the Nuggets are peaking. Are they being overlooked in the West? Probably. And that's exactly how Jokic likes it.
