Kawhi Drops 34 as Clippers Survive Blowing a 23-Point Lead Against Dallas

Kawhi Leonard reminded everyone he's still that guy. Leonard poured in 34 points on 11-of-19 shooting, including six 3-pointers, as the LA Clippers survived a near-collapse to beat the Dallas Mavericks 116-103 on Tuesday night.

The Clippers built a 23-point lead and looked completely dominant — then proceeded to let Dallas claw all the way back. But Leonard took over down the stretch, hitting clutch shots to slam the door shut. He finished with 34 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in just 30 minutes.

With the regular season winding down, the Clippers are fighting for their postseason lives in the Play-In Tournament picture. Kawhi's health has been the question all season long, and nights like this are proof that when he's locked in, there might not be a more dangerous player in the league. The problem is getting him there consistently.
