Kawhi scored 34 with 6 threes as the Clippers survived blowing a 23-point lead to beat the Mavs 116-103.

Kawhi Leonard scored 34 points and hit six three-pointers as the Los Angeles Clippers survived after blowing a 23-point lead, beating the Dallas Mavericks 116-103. It was Leonard's 55th consecutive game scoring 20 or more points — the Clippers' first win in three tries against Dallas this season.

The Clippers looked dominant early, building a massive lead before the Mavericks came roaring back. Cooper Flagg continued his sensational rookie season with 25 points and 9 rebounds in the loss. The No. 1 overall pick has scored 96 points in his last three games and is making a strong late push in the Rookie of the Year conversation.

Darius Garland added 22 points for the Clippers, while Derrick Jones Jr. posted a double-double with 11 and 10. Leonard has played 62 games and needs to appear in the final three to reach 65 — the threshold for postseason awards eligibility including MVP and All-NBA. Tyronn Lue noted that Kawhi is playing every night through injuries — a far cry from the load management days.
