Kawhi Leonard is on a 55-game streak of scoring 20+ points after dropping 34 with 6 threes against Dallas.

Kawhi Leonard dropped 34 points on 11-of-19 shooting with 6 three-pointers in Tuesday's win over Dallas, extending his consecutive 20-point game streak to 55. It's the kind of run that would have him in serious award conversations — if he can just get to 65 games played.

Leonard missed time earlier this season with ankle and wrist injuries, and he's right on the edge of the 65-game minimum required for postseason awards like All-NBA. He needs to play in the final three regular-season games to qualify. Given his history, nothing is guaranteed, but he was fully off the injury report heading into Wednesday's matchup against the Thunder.

The Clippers (41-38) are currently the eighth seed in the West, fighting to avoid or improve their Play-In position. Leonard has been the engine of everything good about this team. If he stays healthy through the postseason, the Clippers are the kind of team nobody wants to face in the first round.
