KD dropped 29/7/5 as the Rockets demolished the Embiid-less Sixers 113-102 for their 8th straight win.

Kevin Durant put on a masterclass Thursday night, pouring in 29 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists as the Houston Rockets rolled over the Joel Embiid-less Philadelphia 76ers 113-102 at Toyota Center. It's Houston's 8th straight win — and they're not slowing down.

Jabari Smith Jr. and Amen Thompson each added 19 for Houston, who led by 23 after three quarters before Philly made it interesting with a 16-0 run to cut the deficit to 101-94. But Durant and the Rockets slammed the door shut from there.

The milestone night had extra juice: KD officially tied Russell Westbrook on the all-time list for games with at least 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Houston has clinched a postseason berth, but with Denver and the Lakers breathing down their neck, seeding in the loaded Western Conference is still very much in play. Tyrese Maxey led Philly with 23 points, but without Embiid — who had emergency appendix surgery hours before tip-off — the Sixers had no answer inside.
