KD dropped 24 with 5 threes in his return to Phoenix
Kevin Durant came back to Phoenix for the first time since being traded to Houston this offseason — and the Suns fans let him hear it. No tribute video. Just boos when the 16-time All-Star was announced in the starting lineup.
Durant responded the only way he knows how: 24 points on 5-of-9 from three, plus 8 rebounds and 8 assists. The Rockets trailed by 21 in the first half and still won 119-105. All five Houston starters scored in double figures.
That's 7 straight wins for the Rockets, who are now tied with the Lakers for the 4th seed in the West. The trade that sent Durant to Houston for Dillon Brooks and Jalen Green is looking like a franchise-altering heist. With 4 games left, Houston has serious momentum heading into the playoffs.
