Knicks beat Celtics 112-106.

The New York Knicks defeated the Boston Celtics 112-106 at Madison Square Garden on Thursday night, fueled by a dominant 31-23 fourth quarter. Josh Hart led the way with 26 points, including the final two three-pointers that sealed the victory, while Jalen Brunson contributed 25 points and 10 assists.

The game carried heavy emotional weight as Jayson Tatum returned to the court where he tore his Achilles tendon last May. Tatum played through the moment admirably, finishing with 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 assists, but Boston couldn't close the gap in the final period. With Jaylen Brown sidelined by Achilles tendinitis, the Celtics were shorthanded.

The win keeps the Knicks alive in the race for the No. 2 seed in the East. New York shot 54% from the field and 43% from three-point range while holding Boston to 45% and 37% respectively. With three games left in the regular season, every result matters for playoff positioning.
