Knicks Clinch East 3-Seed With 13th Straight Win Over Raptors

The New York Knicks locked up the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference Friday night with a 112-95 win over the Toronto Raptors — their 13th consecutive victory over Toronto.

Jalen Brunson was ruthless, scoring 14 of his 29 points in a third quarter that blew the game open. Karl-Anthony Towns chipped in 22 points and 10 rebounds. New York won all five matchups against Toronto this season, every single one by double digits.

At 53-28, the Knicks are set up for a first-round matchup that should favor them. The 2-seed dream died — Boston clinched that earlier in the week — but the 3-seed still gives New York home court in Round 1. After years of rebuilding, this Knicks team has the deepest roster in the East behind Detroit and Boston. The playoffs start April 18.
