Austin Reaves Done for Regular Season — Lakers Lose Both Stars

The Lakers just lost their second star in a week. Austin Reaves has a Grade 2 oblique muscle injury and will miss the rest of the regular season — four to six weeks total.

This means the Lakers will be without both Reaves AND Luka Doncic (hamstring strain) for the remainder of the regular season. LeBron James, at 41 years old, is essentially on his own for the final stretch. The playoffs start April 18, and Reaves is expected to miss at least the early rounds.

Los Angeles was already in a dogfight for playoff positioning. Now its LeBron vs. the entire Western Conference. Again.
