Luka is out for the rest of the regular season with a Grade 2 hamstring strain and is traveling to Europe for specialized treatment.

The Lakers just lost their best player for the rest of the regular season. Luka Doncic suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain during LA's blowout loss to the Thunder and has been ruled out for the final stretch. He's now traveling to Europe for specialized medical treatment in hopes of being ready for the playoffs.

Even without Luka, the Lakers demolished the Warriors 119-103 on the road, shooting 60% from the field and 55% from three in the first half. LeBron James led the way with 18 points, and LA is now tied with Houston for the 4th seed in the West. But the bigger question is whether Luka will be healthy enough to make a playoff impact — Grade 2 strains typically require a month of recovery, which could mean he misses the first round entirely.

Austin Reaves is also sidelined with an oblique injury, leaving the Lakers dangerously thin heading into the postseason. After going 16-2 from late February through March, LA's injury luck has completely reversed. The regular season ends Sunday, and the Lakers need to hold off the Rockets to secure home court in the first round.
