4 days left in the regular season

Four days remain in the 2025-26 NBA regular season, and almost nothing is settled. The Detroit Pistons are the only team to clinch their exact playoff seed — the 1 seed in the East, their first since 2007. Everyone else is still fighting.

In the West, Oklahoma City (62-16) leads San Antonio (60-19) by 2.5 games for the top overall seed. Denver's OT win over Portland vaulted the Nuggets into the 3 seed, jumping the injury-plagued Lakers. The Play-In Tournament tips off April 14, with the regular season finale on April 12 featuring all 30 teams.

In the East, Boston and Cleveland are battling for the 2 and 3 seeds behind Detroit. The play-in picture is messy — the Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards injury could shake up the entire Western Conference bracket if he can't go.
