Nuggets Hit 10-Game Win Streak — Longest of the Jokic Era
The Denver Nuggets have won 10 games in a row. That's never happened in the Nikola Jokic era — until now.
Denver beat the Memphis Grizzlies 136-119 on Wednesday night, with Jokic doing what Jokic does: 14 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists in 31 minutes. That's his 34th triple-double of the season, and he looked bored doing it.
Here's the ridiculous part. During this 10-game streak, Jokic is averaging 25.2 points, 14.5 rebounds, and 12.7 assists. According to Opta, in over 1.4 million recorded 10-game spans in NBA history, no player has ever totaled more points, rebounds, and assists than Jokic has during this run: 252 points, 145 rebounds, 127 assists.
This is Denver's longest winning streak since the 2012-13 season, when they strung together 15 consecutive wins. Under first-year head coach David Adelman, this team has found another gear heading into the playoffs. The Western Conference is officially on notice.
