Nuggets Win 11th Straight, Crush Thunder in Reserve Battle
The Denver Nuggets won their 11th consecutive game, beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 127-107 in a game where neither team's stars bothered suiting up. Jokic sat. SGA sat. Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, Jamal Murray — all out.
Jonas Valanciunas posted season highs of 23 points and 17 rebounds for Denver, while Julian Strawther (22 points) and David Roddy (season-high 21) also feasted against OKC's depleted roster. The Thunder rested 10 key rotation players with the No. 1 overall seed already locked up.
Denver's streak has taken them from 6th in the West all the way up to at least the 4th seed. That's an enormous swing. The Nuggets looked dead two weeks ago — now they're the team nobody wants to see in the first round. Funny how that works when Jokic decides to care.
