Rockets Erase 21-Point Deficit — KD Drops 24 in 7th Straight Win

The Suns jumped out to a 26-5 lead. They were hitting everything — 10 of their first 15 shots. Phoenix had a 24-0 run in the first quarter. It looked over before it started.

It was not over. Kevin Durant, back in Phoenix where he spent 18 months, scored 24 points with 5 threes. Amen Thompson went for 22/11/8. Jabari Smith Jr. added 20 with 5 triples of his own. The Rockets cut it to 57-54 by halftime and pulled away in the second half for a 119-105 win — their largest comeback of the season and 7th consecutive victory.

Houston (50-29) is now tied with the Lakers for the West's 4/5 seeds and sits one game behind the Nuggets (51-28) with three to play. Devin Booker had 31 and 8 assists in the loss, but the Suns (43-36) are locked into the Play-In. This Rockets team is peaking at exactly the right time.
