The Thunder beat the Clippers 128-110 behind Chet Holmgren's 30 to clinch the overall No.
The Oklahoma City Thunder clinched the No. 1 overall seed and home court advantage throughout the entire postseason — including the Finals — with a dominant 128-110 victory over the Clippers on Wednesday. Chet Holmgren led the way with 30 points in the clinching game.
OKC's 64th win locked up what has been a historically dominant regular season. The Thunder are now the sixth team since the NBA went to a 16-team playoff format in 1983-84 to earn the top seed three straight seasons. They're chasing a back-to-back championship after winning it all last year.
What makes this run even more impressive is that All-NBA forward Jalen Williams has been limited to just 33 games this season due to wrist and hamstring injuries. The Thunder's depth and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's MVP-level play have carried them regardless. With the playoffs starting April 18, OKC has home court locked up for every round.
