The Oklahoma City Thunder demolished the Los Angeles Lakers 123-87 on Monday night — the Lakers' worst performance of the entire season. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 25 points and 8 assists, while Isaiah Joe knocked down 6 three-pointers and Chet Holmgren added 15 points and 10 rebounds.

This was a mismatch from the opening tip. The Lakers were without five rotation players combining for 94.6 points per game: Luka Doncic (hamstring, out for the season), Austin Reaves (oblique, out for the season), LeBron James (rest), Marcus Smart, and Jaxson Hayes. What was left was not enough to compete with the NBA's best team.
