Wolves clinched the 6th seed after beating the Pacers, but Ant Edwards' knee issue is being compared to Steph Curry's — no structural damage, but he's been in and out for weeks and playoffs start in 9 days.

The Minnesota Timberwolves punched their playoff ticket Tuesday night with a win over the Indiana Pacers, clinching the 6th seed in the West and extending their postseason streak to five consecutive years. But the celebration comes with a significant asterisk: Anthony Edwards.

Ant has been dealing with a right knee issue that doctors are now comparing to the same "runner's knee" condition that sidelined Steph Curry for two months earlier this season. The good news? There's nothing structurally wrong. The bad news? Edwards has been in and out of the lineup for weeks, and the playoffs start April 18.

Jaden McDaniels has also missed the last six games, and Julius Randle is out with a hand injury until at least April 10. The Wolves are projected to face the Nuggets — who are on a 10-game win streak — in the first round. Minnesota made back-to-back conference finals runs, but going into a series with Denver at less than full strength is a nightmare scenario for Wolves fans.
