Wolves Clinch Playoff Spot — Dosunmu Drops 24 in Blowout Win Over Pacers
The Minnesota Timberwolves are officially in the playoffs. A 124-104 demolition of the Indiana Pacers, combined with Phoenix's 119-105 loss to Houston, locked the Wolves into a postseason spot with four games left in the regular season.
Ayo Dosunmu — the deadline acquisition from Chicago — led Minnesota with 24 points and looked like the missing piece the Wolves have been searching for. Julius Randle and Bones Hyland each added 19 as Minnesota snapped a three-game losing streak that had started to feel dangerous.
The timing matters. Anthony Edwards is still nursing right knee patellofemoral pain and has missed 8 of the last 10 games. Minnesota had to prove it could win without Ant, and tonight they did exactly that. The Wolves won for just the second time in six games, but this one clinched what counts — a ticket to the postseason. With the Play-In starting April 14, the Wolves need to figure out their Ant situation fast.
