TL;DR

After a 107-104 opening loss to Dallas — 2-of-9 from three, five turnovers, two back adjustments — Clark's first road trip of 2026 takes her to Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday night against Kelsey Plum and the Sparks.

Caitlin Clark's first road game of 2026 comes Tuesday night at Crypto.com Arena, where the Indiana Fever face a Los Angeles Sparks squad that has had three days to study every tendency from the Dallas opener — including the 2-of-9 three-point shooting, the five turnovers, and the back that sent her to the training room twice during Indiana's 107-104 loss.

Indiana's opener revealed two realities at once: Kelsey Mitchell is a legitimate franchise co-star — her 30 points led the team — and Clark is still finding her rhythm after 296 days off the WNBA floor. She finished with 20 points and 7 assists, which looks fine until you add the five turnovers, the misfired logo three with 4.5 seconds left that would have tied it, and the sluggish first-half footwork her coach Stephanie White chalked up to opening-night rust.

Los Angeles is a different assignment than Dallas. Kelsey Plum gives the Sparks a guard who can match Clark's pace at both ends of the floor. Dearica Hamby anchors the paint. Nneka Ogwumike changes angles in the halfcourt. Indiana shot 29 percent from three as a team in the opener. The Fever won't find their first win of 2026 if that number doesn't move.

Tip-off is 10:30 p.m. ET Tuesday on USA Network — Clark's first nationally televised road appearance since returning from injury.
