Caitlin Clark Cleared For Fever's May 9 Opener vs Bueckers

Indiana fans had a heart attack Thursday when Caitlin Clark limped off after a collision with a Dallas Wings player in preseason. By Saturday she was back on the floor, dropping 12 points in 13 minutes against Nigeria in the preseason finale. No injury report Sunday. She's good to go.

Saturday's opener is a Year 2 marquee matchup: Clark and the Fever vs Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd and the Wings. Only the second time Clark and Bueckers will face off as pros. Indiana is a popular pick to crack the Finals after retooling around Clark this offseason.

The Fever moved their home opener to Friday May 9 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse — sold out, of course.
