JJ Redick is still mad

JJ Redick is not having it. After the Lakers got run out of Paycom Center 125-107 — Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander each with 22, six Thunder players in double figures — Redick walked into the press conference and went after the refs.

"LeBron has the worst whistle of any star player I've ever seen," he said. "The smaller guys, because they can be theatric, they typically draw more fouls, and the bigger players that are built like LeBron, it's hard for them." He'd already picked up a technical in the first half for arguing non-calls on Reaves and Jaxson Hayes. Reaves added his own grievance about referee John Goble: "He turned around and just yelled in my face. Just thought that was disrespectful. I told him if I did that to him first, I would've gotten a tech."

Fair complaints? Maybe. SGA shot 13 free throws to LeBron's 3. But the bigger problem for LA is they're down 2-0, still without Luka Dončić, and have to win four of five against the best team in basketball. Game 3 is Saturday in LA. The Lakers' season is on a 36-hour clock.
