Luka Doncic ruled out for Game 1 against Thunder — 32 days since last game

Luka Doncic will not play Game 1 against the Thunder tonight. It's been 32 days since his last minute on a court — he tweaked his hamstring on April 3 and hasn't been seen since. ESPN's Brian Windhorst was blunt on air Tuesday: "He is not close."

So the Lakers walk into OKC down their best player against the team most NBA bettors think wins the title. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander averaged 33.8 a game in the first-round sweep of Phoenix. He's the MVP frontrunner. The Thunder swept the season series too. Without Luka, this gets ugly fast.
