Thunder bury Lakers 131-108 in Game 3, take 3-0 series lead and push to 7-0 in playoffs

LeBron James is one game from elimination. The Oklahoma City Thunder rolled the Los Angeles Lakers 131-108 in Game 3 at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday night, taking a commanding 3-0 series lead and improving to 7-0 in the 2026 playoffs. The defending champs aren't just winning games — they're laying waste to them.

Ajay Mitchell stole the show off the bench with career playoff-highs of 24 points and 10 assists on 10-of-17 shooting. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander didn't need to overload — 23 points and 9 assists was enough. The Thunder pulled away by outscoring the Lakers 33-20 in the third quarter and never looked back. Rui Hachimura led L.A. with 21. LeBron finished with 19 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds, but the Lakers had no answer for OKC's depth without Luka Dončić, who missed his 14th straight game with a strained hamstring.

Game 4 is Monday in Los Angeles. The Thunder are one win from sweeping LeBron James out of the playoffs and back to the Western Conference Finals. At 7-0 with margins this ugly, the rest of the league should probably be paying attention.
